Monday 21 March 2016 will be the 11th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day.

Down Syndrome International encourages people from all over the world to help raise awareness of what Down syndrome is, what it means to have Down syndrome, and how people with Down syndrome play a vital role in our lives and communities.

My Friends My Community

This year for World Down Syndrome Day we invite you to join us for a Family Walk followed by a BBQ and entertainment .

When:              Sunday, 20th March 2016,     11.30 am onwards
Where:            Woodhaugh Gardens, Duke Street, Dunedin, by the Flying Fox 
Bring:              Salad or Desert to share, BBQ supplied 
Cost:               Gold Coin Donation.  

T-Shirts will be available to purchase on the day for $15 each.  
Family and friends are welcome.

11-30 am, family Walk

Join us at Woodhaugh Gardens where we will head of for a 1.5 km walk around the picturesque streets of North Dunedin.

12-30 pm, BBQ for all

Time for a quick bite to eat!  Bring a salad or desert to share!!

Come and see Otagos' very own Award Winning Balloonologist, Pippity-Pop!!

2pm, NZ Fire Service

The New Zealand Fire Service have kindly agreed to come along and show off their truck to us!  Come and check out what they are doing to keep us all safe!
