SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS

The Otago Down Syndrome Association provides support to parents, teachers, schools, and organisations to ensure that students with Down syndrome are maximising their personal outcomes. Some of this support is provided through the seminars and workshops that we run or host.
The vision of the Otago Down Syndrome Association is to promote improved outcomes for all people with Down syndrome. This is achieved through a commitment to the capacity of all people with Down syndrome to achieve in all aspects of their lives. This is coupled with a focus on education in all areas including physical, emotional, intellectual and social learning. We oversee programs and services designed to maximise the developmental achievements of people with Down syndrome both in their educational environment and in the wider community.
There are a variety of courses that we run regularly including Numicon, See and Learn and Talklink.
