Social change & advocacy

There are many groups locally and Internationally that are raising the awareness of life with Down Syndrome.
Saving Downs

Think Differently "Think Differently is a social change campaign to encourage and support a fundamental shift in attitudes and behaviour towards disabled people. It’s about maximising opportunities and focusing on what people can do rather than what they can’t."
Disabled Persons AssemblyOur core function is to help engage the New Zealand disability community to listen to the views of disabled people and articulate these as we work with decision makers. We want to turn our rights into reality so we can live in a country where every person is able to live and work, and simply be who they are.
