donations*

Since 2012 the Otago Down Syndrome Association (ODSA) has been supporting people with Down syndrome and their families, making a difference and helping to navigate their journey. ODSA depends on the assistance of volunteers and interested parties. In order to provide its services ODSA actively fundraises and is reliant on the support of sponsors and funding organisations.

It is vitally important to us that we can continue to inform and support families and your financial support will assist in ensuring we continue our work. To provide financial support to ODSA you could:
  • make a one-off donation
  • set up a regular donation by direct debit
  • donate using the payroll giving scheme
The ongoing support of your donation each month is the most effective way to assist our work.
Donations are tax deductible.
If you would like to donate you can do this by:
Payroll giving
If your employer participates then Payroll Giving is the easiest way to donate to Auckland Down Syndrome Association. Payroll Giving provides you with the opportunity to donate to approved Donee organisations direct from your pay and receive immediate tax credits that reduce your PAYE payable.

You will need to give your employer our name, the amount of donation you want to make, pay periods over which you want the donation to be made and our bank account: ASB 12-3008-0265824-00.

For example:
A donation of $20 each pay earns $6.66 in tax credits which is deducted from your PAYE tax for that pay.

If you want to find out more about Payroll Giving then refer to http://www.ird.govt.nz/income-tax-individual/tax-credits/payroll-giving/
The Direct Donor ProgrammeYou can also choose to donate using the Direct Donor programme. As a Direct Donor, you set an amount you can happily afford and direct credit takes care of the rest. Details you need for setting up a Direct Credit:

and send an email to clo@adsa.org.nz with your details, so we can send you the receipt at the end of the relevant financial year.
Thank You.
Information will be sent to you via preferred method of contact on how to set up an automatic payment to Auckland Down Syndrome Association.

YOUR SUPPORT AND CONTRIBUTION IS APPRECIATED. WE THANK YOU.
